Foundation of the Rotary Club of Honolulu

The Foundation of the Rotary Club of Honolulu was founded during the Presidency of John Warren in January of 1978. It was formed as a Hawaii non-profit corporation and by 1979, had qualified as a tax-exempt organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

There are two separate funds within the Club’s Foundation: the John Warren Fund which is used to support current projects, and the Maile Hale Fund which is an endowment fund, the income of which is available to support a major Club initiative.
 

The Rotary International Foundation  

The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The endowment was founded in 1917 by Arch C. Klumph.  The endowment supports Ambassadorial Scholarships, Group Study Exchange, Matching grants, Health, Hunger and Humanity (3-H) Grants, PolioPlus, Rotary Grants for University Teachers and the Foundation's peace and conflict studies programs.

The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.

The Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation   

Founded in 1975 by Maurice "Sully" Sullivan.  This Foundation offers scholarships to Hawaii high school seniors who are planning to attend a four year accredited college or university in the United States.
